You could save a life
In the last 3 months, I have had some very upsetting phone calls by friends and colleagues. The call was always about financial upsets. Each time, I was asked for resources that might help. Each time, I felt I was only offering a partial solution for what was happening.
If you are like me, you know a substantial amount of people who are struggling with credit card debt, mortgage payments, being upside down in their home and many other financial disasters.
I just watched a CNN report where people are so desperate they are burning their own homes. They are committing arson to try and save their life.
This past weekend, I feel I have finally found a resource who is actually making a difference. As I was interviewing her, I felt for the first time, there was hope for people in this economy. I got to talk with some of the families she has helped and was blown away. People who were on the verge of bankruptcy, foreclosure and credit disaster have completely turned things around in a very short amount of time.
Please help me in sharing this information with people you know who are feeling overwhelmed with their situation. I firmly believe right now, lives are at stake. I have made a commitment to be part of the solution and this is my way of giving back.
